1. What is WebSnitch?

WebSnitch is an invisible surveillance tool that records every keystroke to an encrypted log file. The WebSnitch also monitors internet activity by logging all URLs the user visits. It monitors the time and title of the active application; even text in edit boxes and static text is captured. It also allows you to choose the websites you deem appropriate for your child.

2. What is the purpose of the program?

The purpose of the program is to provide you with an activity log of what is going on your computer.

3. On what platforms does WebSnitch run?

WebSnitch is operates on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.

4. How invisible is the WebSnitch?

The settings in WebSnitch are defined by you, if you select WebSnitch to be invisible to Ctrl-Alt-Del, or the task bar. Run WebSnitch in stealth mode, and it is totally invisible, until you press your user defined hot-keys to make it visible again.


5. How is WebSnitch uninstalled?

Simply find WebSnitch on you start menu, and select the "Uninstall WebSnitch" icon.

6. I have an e-mail account - can WebSnitch email the log files?

If you have an AOL, MSN, Yahoo Hotmail or any POP3 email account, where you want to send the log file report via email WebSnitch will send your logs to that email account. However, these logs can be quite large. For Logs larger than 2Mb we recommend subscribing to our FTP package service. Click here for more details!


7. I do not have a large email account - can WebSnitch still send me the log files?

8. I want to restrict the websites my kids can go to on the Internet - does WebSnitch do this?
Yes, WebSnitch gives you full control to choose the websites you want your kids to have access too.

9. How secure is WebSnitch?
WebSnitch is very secure, it allows you to pick your username and password, and also encrypts all you logs files.

Yes, WebSnitch logs all your computers Internet and Chat activity.
